결국, 한국에서의 높은 청년실업 문제를 피하여 호주로 온 한국의 젊은이들이 호주에서 취업을 하기 위해서는 기본 생활 영어(General English)도 필요하겠지만, 영어학원을 1년 등록하여 다닐 정도의 경제적 뒷받침이 없을 경우에는 차라리 처음부터 직업전선으로 돌진하는 것이 현명한 판단이다. 어차피 생활영어라는 것은 차라리 한국이나 필리핀에서 배우는 것이 훨씬 경제적이다.

비싼 비행기표를 사서 호주로 온 이상, 아예 처음부터 직업전선에 뛰어 드는 것이 옳은 결정이다. 단, 완전 100%의 노동력으로 젊은 날의 고생을 사서 하기 보다는, 그래도 한 가지 기술이라도 배우고, 자격증이라도 따서 조금 더 자신의 노동력을 비싼 시급으로 팔 수 있지 않을까?
